Founder's Camp
An invitation to help shape what Camp Denman becomes. A multidisciplinary week designed for a small group of creators — with light instructor presence, strong support across all areas, and an emphasis on collaboration, testing ideas, creating content, and gathering feedback.
Week 1, July 5–11, 2026 · Pilot Cohort · 37 acres of oceanfront forest
The Opportunity
The Opportunity
Founder's Camp marks the first week of Camp Denman's inaugural summer season. It is an invitation to experience the campus at the moment it begins to come to life — when the spaces are new, the rhythms are forming, and the culture is still being shaped.
Participants will not simply move through a finished program. They will help influence the feel of the experience itself: the daily flow, the strengths of the program, the details that matter, and the ideas that should carry forward into future seasons.
Founder's Camp is for people who are energized by beginnings — people who want to be part of what something becomes, not only what it looks like once it is complete.
Setting Expectations
Setting Expectations
Founder's Camp is a first season experience. That brings a kind of excitement, openness, and access that later years may not offer in the same way. It also means that some elements of the campus and program will still be settling into place.
Participants can expect new facilities, a smaller and more intimate cohort environment, and closer access to the founding team and faculty. They can also expect an experience that may continue to evolve in real time, with flexibility, patience, and shared goodwill forming part of the culture from the start.
For the right people, that is part of the value: the chance to be present at the beginning and to contribute to how Camp Denman grows.
